It was a rather decent game at the San Siro as Inter took all 3 points courtesy of a penalty that was fired in by Romelu Lukaku in 73rd minute. Inter looked 2nd best in the game as Napoli took charge and were very creative in the box, Lorenzo Insigne and Hirving Lozano were denied by Samir Handanovic who made 2 tremendous saves to keep the scores level. Napoli's game was dealt with a blow when keeper David Ospina brought down Matteo Darmian in the box which allowed Inter to take the lead with Napoli down to 10 men after winger Insigne was sent off in the 71st minute.
The win for Inter took them to within 1 point off leaders and city rivals AC Milan who dropped points after drawing at Genoa later last night.
Games are coming in thick and fast as teams try to get their squads organised and try to get the best out of this busy schedule. One thing for certain, the title race is heating up
