CARROT HALWA

INGREDIENTS

Carrot 500gms
Milk 500ml
Sugar ½ cup
Ghee 3 tablespoon
Dry fruits like raisins, almonds, and cashews
Milkmaid 200gms
2 pinches of cardamom powder
METHOD OF MAKE IT:
Take 500gm of carrot. Wash, peel them and grate them.
In a pan, add 3 tbsp of ghee.
Once the ghee is hot, add 8-10 raisins and fry them until they swell up and take them off.
Add 4 almonds and 4 cashews and fry them until light brown and remove them.
To this ghee, add the grated carrot.
Keep stirring until the moisture is gone.
To this add ½ cup sugar and mix well until the sugar is melted properly.
Now add 200gm of milkmaid , 500 ml of milk and mix well .
Keep stirring until the entire milk reduces.
Once done, add 2 pinches of cardamom powder and mix well.
Turn off the gas.
Chop the almonds and cashews in small pieces and add fried raisins and mix well, and serve hot or cold and also with ice-cream
