Music is one of oldest are form it's as old as humanity many discovered that there were flutes made by 'bones and ivory' they were as old as 43000 years ago but when it comes under the basis of specified songs it's been recovered at least 4000 years ago on a clay tablet which was called “Hurrian Hymn No. 6,” which was for a tribute to the goddess Nikkal composed by Hurrians they were discovered around the 1950's near Ugarit in Syria.
Even though the “Hurrian Hymn No. 6" Should be considered the oldest melody but the oldest musical composition which was recovered and survived all these years would be the "Seikilos Epitaph"
Perspectives of many people listening these beautiful methods of discovering song would obviously bring laughter on people's face because it sounds 'funny' is what would be said but only if we go back into the time and blend with the ancient and understand the plights of the people going through and feel the moisture of the air, wind and soil is when you can appreciate pure art . To me both of the songs sounded nothing less than beautiful but your mind would be your win go ahead listen maybe it would be send your mind to the marmalade skies where you can never let the feeling go and change your mind forever.
